The goal of the project focuses on identifying our capacity within the local area, pooling skills, and resources together and enhancing quality of life for all. This initiative also looks to achieve cost efficiencies through group purchasing, as well as laying down the foundations for a self-sustaining business that operates within a private sphere of engagement, safeguarding local ways of life from imposed external influences and economic uncertainties.
A Vision of Ownership
To envision us building our own ‘trust’, a private space fostering interpersonal trust and cooperation within our local area – as well as functional resilliance to maintain our way of life and livelihoods. This collective effort underpins essential needs, supports wellness, promotes training and sustainability, stimulates local economic growth, and enhances our lives through culture, the arts and our cumulative expression. It’s about carving out a future that prioritizes care, collaboration, and community well-being through what we stand for, what we believe and what we do in this world together. Its about us turning to face the world we live in, standing and supporting oursleves and one another and recognising that we are part of, and in service to something greater.

This is an active process where we as a community take charge of our direction, whilst continuing our engagement within the broader global market.
To achieve this, we must collaborate and commit to building a shared vision together. A vision of care, compassion, celebration and connection, respecting each other, the life around us, and that which is expressed through ourselves and each other, alongside the planet that we live on.
Supporting Our Journey
This website serves as a catalyst for change. A place to shape our identity and share what we offer to the world. The website offers an online community hub space, that can support the fomation and accessibility of groups and space for the collaboration of skills, community discussions and information sharing, as well as providing us with a place to offer what we do in the world.
The website forms a backbone that provides structure to a pop up market space and community hub, which will be ran in the town and will provide micro evening markets for people to get together, share ideas, sell, exchange and market their skills and wares. The space will also host talks and discusions and provide a space for people to meet, share, exchange and build together – focusing on local collaborative, collective growth and finding ways to work together and build the future we believe in.
Our ultimate goal? To evolve human life on earth by creating choice, fostering sustainability, and advocating collectively for causes we believe in—while cherishing our planet, each other, and the places we live.

Establish a ‘Private Membership Group’
As a private group, we maintain our way of life and our ideals within the global market influences. Our mission is driven not by profit but by community cooperation for local development, maintaining stability through uncertain times and preparing collaborative outputs to engage globally. This takes form by maintaining our skills and trades together, supporting each other, through forming collaborations and creating pathways for local growth and specialisms, which in turn, we can offer to the wider markets.
This initiative takes the form of a private project, akin to other private organizations or groups. The aim is not necessarily motivated by profit per’se; instead, our focus is on creating a sustainable future during uncertain economic times.
We need to find ways to create collaborations between skills, businesses and people, find ways of effectively sharing our resources and creating consistent function of a co-creational community infrastructure.
In short, we must find ways of being able to rely on one another.
We can use our cottage industry traders to bolster aspects of our functioning, utilise local skills for growth and build new projects to enhance and provide new employment and purpose for those not engaged.
Potential Output and Community Ownership
While the potential output may evolve into an entity capable of global engagement and profits, it will be governed by community ownership principles. Excess Funds (beyond our livelihood requirements and renumeration) will flow into a community trust aimed at underpinning local economic and welfare-focused reserves, ensuring future stability in our community. We will also direct funding into local resilliance, development and maintaining the delivery of these services.
Our approach directs resources towards sustainable values that prioritize human support and care—covering food, wellness, inclusion, shelter, occupation, training, pensionable services, cultural appreciation, and environmental stewardship.
We’re embarking on a transformative journey to assert our collective agency, navigate challenges, and carve out a future that honors our local context while embracing global connectivity.
